Hey everyone:
We are putting the final touches on our invitations and will have them in the mail soon. Here are a few things you should know:
-We are planning to have the ceremony at approximately 3:00 pm on June 27th at Channel Lane Park in Pentwater. We picked this spot because it is right by the water and the beach and is easily accessible by car, bike, or on foot. We need to submit a form to the village for approval. We only need the space for a couple hours so hopefully we'll get approved. This park has a lot of memories for me. We have had many family cook-outs there and it is really low key. It is also right around the corner from the Seymour cottage, so it is really convenient.
- The reception will take place at the Ida Jean Guest House 379 E. Lowell in
Pentwater. The owner of the Ida Jean is named Pat-- he is an awesome guy and I know will guarantee that we have a blast.
-This is going to be a casual wedding- we are hoping for a slight step up from a bbq or picnic. No need for ties or heels unless that is what makes you comfortable. Flip flops welcome.
-Please book your lodging early. To maximize your ability to be near all the fun, you'll want to book something in town. Other options are: Hart is a smaller town south of Pentwater, and about 10 minutes away, with some lodging right off Highway 31. Ludington is a much larger place, just north of Pentwater and also on Lake Michigan, but it is a good 20+ min drive on the highway. There are more lodging options there, but you'll be farther from the fun.

i booked my room at the candlewyck house. i had to call a couple of times, they are in florida for the winter and sometimes misplace the book! they sound adorable and old. they open that weekend, except my room. i am stoked to be close to the action!
